What can be done about torque steer?

Default What can be done about torque steer?

My cx dosent have ps and at full acceleration its a handfull to drive. It pulls violently to whichever side the road slopes. Im only at 300/220 now and ill be lookin for 400+ next spring. Are there any tricks/mods to reduce the cars yanking, im going to break a wrist.

Maybe LSD or traction bars? Not sure...i also have the same problem

Replace that nice turbo setup with an HF motor... and get better gas mileage!!


Seriously though, what about this:

coupled with an LSD. From what I remember, torque steer is caused by both fluctuation in the suspension components, combined with one wheel getting more power than the other (assuming alignment is correct). These two together should substantially limit, if not negate the effects of this. Also Energy Suspension urethane would add to this stability.

My 2 coppers tossed in anyways.

it has to do with your caster adjustment, but u should be able to dial it out to some extent.

A good LSD like a Quaife helps a lot. Try and alignment first because it's a lot cheaper than an LSD.

I have an lsd and jimfabs, i havent had an alignment in a while tho. Ill try it, thanks.
