I've made up my mind, I'm going with AMS or mobil 1, whichever one the shop has that is changing the oil.
I was hesitant because I was under the assumption that once dyno juice was used synthetic oil was a bad idea, but I'm not buying into that.

Can't go wrong with Royal Purple as long as you have the cash for it. If not Mobil 1 Synth is a little cheaper. I ran Castrol GTX for 1500 miles and then switched to Royal Purple and couldn't believe the difference good oil makes.
I burn too much oil to run the high $ stuff
. I stick with the NAPA brand $1.50 a qt crap. When I rebuild again I'm going with Amsoil synthetic after the break-in. Suposedly stays good for 7,000 miles with thier oil filter.
I herd Royal Purple looses its "good qualities" after a 1000 miles or so.
