Default WELD HEADER FLANGES???

Hey peoples
Here is a quick question i hope someone can answer for me. Recently i bought a chikara header for my 92 accord lx w/F22A engine swap and the header seems to be possibly defective...but i'm not sure.I have blown 3 gaskets in almost the same exact area at the same location. The location is the gasket between where the upper part of the header meets/bolts to the lower part of the header or y-pipe. The gaskets just seem to lastabout a week or two before they blow. So i guess my question is....is it safe to get the two flanges welded together rather than trying to replace gaskets every week or so? cuz that is what i would rather do is just get the damn thing welded...and if not is there copper gaskets for this type of header. What is cheaper?

Thanks for help/advice

Is the gasket stock or did it come with the new header? My old F22b1 didn't have a gasket there and neither does my H22, weird. I'd say you could weld it as long as you can still install it once it's one piece.

the gaskets i have been using are the ones that came with the new header? so i dont know what the deal is really!!oh and i think welding it into a one-piece would be just as easy to put into the car as it would a pre-made/ordered one-piece header like a dcsport one-piece header even though i have a chikara

this is my story, after hitting the header downpipe(lucky not dented), the damn thing sit kinda off, i used air gun to tighten it back on but it just keep on leaking after a month or so.

after much testing, i figure out i can take out my header without taking out the downpipe, so i had it welded

4-1 2 piece to one piece now
