ok another first. this is the first 99-00 b16 swap for me. i have a jdm GSR. i have a p72 with an obd2.1-obd2.2 converswion harness already. i know about pretty much everything except the distributor. the 00 dx has 8 wires. the GSR has 8 or 9 but they have the 12ga + - for the coil. basically the plugs are too different to repin. any suggestions? last case scenerio is a 99-00 Si engine harness but thats 395 and im not ready to spend that yet. i did a search but nothing for the 99-00. TIA.

I am pretty sure you cut the plug off the dist. side on the motor and match the colors to the plug off the original motor... I could be wrong, but take a look and see if that makes sense?

 

it does but there is 1 or 2 more wires kinda like a dx swap in a 88-91 but i know where they go.

 

what car is this going into? what motor is being put in? and which harness are u using?

p72 ecu but i have a 2.2-2.1 adapter.
goin in a 00 dx.
i think i got it but i am lost on the big black and yellow wire. i think it is just a switched 12 volt as the positive for the coil?
i have a helms and am getting closer. i have so much **** on my mind right now i need a few clearer heads.
