price for cam install and valve lash adjust?

im looking to get this installed, whats the going rate for the labor?

shop rates are usualy anywhere from $65-85 an hour. shouldnt take more than two hours for someone experienced.

Maybe you could hit up Tobi (FULLTHROTTLE) on here and in your area. Feel it out and see how much he'd do it for. Not that it's anything of exceptional merit, but he's got a nice garage and he's worked on more than a fair share of cars (mostly Honda's).

good i called a shop to get an estimate and the guy told me "this job is a bear to do, labor will be 10.7 hours MINIMUM, when can I pencil you in for?!" I could not believe it. I was there once before and the guy was a **** monkey but this place was AAA aproved so I would get a discount, but this was outrageous.

I paid $200 for install.....$200 for tuning for my 403's and crower springs.

I paid $180 for my itr cam installation and valve adjustment. It was done by a Honda technician that worked in a Getty shop. He had been a Honda worker for 25 years so I knew he knew what he was doing.....

I thought it was a good price, especially for having a honda technician work on it
