Based on phyiscal size, are all D series dist's the same? My dist's gasket that seals with the valve cover has eroded away, and i can get a y8 dist to get the gasket off and put it on my z6 dist. Would it fit?

 

You never know until you try, if you have access then pry that thing off and slap onto yours. If it fits then it fits, if not then buy a new one. A new gasket for the distrubitor shouldn't be that expensive anyway. Not all d series distr. are the same, if you got the D series VTEC then it'll be different from the DX, CX and LX.
