Default Interesting TSB on Emissions

98-081 MAR 03 Emissions System - Warranty Extension

Anyone know anything about this TSB? It seems to extend the warranty of some emission stuff but I have no clue what. Anyone have access to these?

you might want to try with someone that works at a honda dealer. there are a few on po.com. they may be able to get access to TSB info.

the emission sxstension were for all 96-97 hondas. and 95 accord v6 because they were obd2. here it is. prior to 75K you would bring your car in for a check engine light inspection to check for codes. from 75k to 150k you will bring your car in for a free oil change, dist. cap, rotor button, plugs, and plug wires. and for 14 YEARS or 150,000 miles which ever comes first, every tthing that is emissions related, ecm, to o2 sensors to egr valves is covered under warranty.

yep, but you have to have a cel or a drivability issue that leads to a faulty or lazy o2.

ooo "lazy o2"... I was told my o2 sensor is "lazy" that's why I have a problem with stalling and floating idle when an engine is half-warmed... Can you explain how this sensor can be "lazy"?
And what to do with that? I bought this sensor in May'03... So practically it's brand new...

a lazy o2 is just a slow responding o2. it will affect feul milage and performance because the optimum condition wont be realized in real time. it will cause a rich or lean condition. the only way to know for sure is to monitor the o2 and feul trim with a scan tool.
