Input needed, battery/alternator related.
Last night I installed a radio in my boss's Isuzu Rodeo and replaced a broken positive battery terminal. Today her husband complains the vehicle stalled out on him twice, but the vehicle started right back up. I explained to him the battery is only used to start the vehicle and even if my terminal install failed, the vehicle should not stall. As for the stereo install, I spliced into the factory harness. Has anyone ever seen a vehicle stall because of a bad terminal? My first inclination is the alternator might be going out, but the battery isn't draining completely.
Sounds definitely like an alternator charge problem, a grounding problem, or something is shorting out.
Check the main ground from the battery..

Yeah, but if I find the culprit to be an unrelated problem to my work, $$$.
