need to know what would cause this problem of my shifter rattles about 7900-8000
at any gear any ideas

lol are you cruising around at that rpm? probably something to do with your shifter rubbing maybe? idk.

 

i don't think it is the rubber because it is tight , i hope i can find out what it is

 

If I were you i wouldnt worry too much about it, you dont spend that much time at that rpms and if you do then you are constantly bouncing off the rev limter

 

Uhh you can't do anything about it, sorry. What do you expect from an engine turning 133 revolutions per SECOND, silky smoothness?

The plastic ring on top of my shift boot rattles alot when I get close to redline, but that's only because it's loose. Just live with it.
