Im a little biased though.

What do you want to do? Auto-x? Drag?

there are a LOT of good turbos
from a 50 trim t3, 60 trim, smaller t3/t4's

probally the BEST for the money, and the MOST efficent for the money anywhere, is the Holset HX30

thats a good deal , t25 is a small turbo so lag is almost non exsistant . i have a tdo4h and love it on my d series , i wouldnt put a big turbo on it unless you can rev high enough

Get a large t3- great match for the d-series. A 60-trim t3 would be a great turbo, even a bit large (but good for drag) on our motor. Rather responsive, too. A super60 might be good too, depending on how serious you are about drag racing!

if you're still looking for a small, but decent turbo..I have a Mitsu TDO4 14B for sale, very good turbo...flows much better than it T25/28 counterpart. check it out

T-25/ TD04H(L) for super fast spool, but I'd say the BEST D-series turbo is the T-3 .60/.63 60-trim that comes on 2.4L ford/merkur SVO motors.

My TD04L ( wrx turbo ) is always sppoled it seems like, almost like driving on the interstate with 1psi ready, but that's with NO exhuast at all, NO intercooler ( which adds lag ), and NO air filter.
Starion FMIC on the way, got exhuast built last weekend, and adapting K&N filter this weekend.

I'm running a 14b but I really regret not going with a T3 60 trim. Pulls soo much harder.

I am running a T3/T4 60 trim .63 ar. This was my future motor going in this winter. I am running 12 psi on stock block tuned (by me) on Hondata. Pulls like you would not believe.

Plan on turning up a little today sometime.

im running the 14b on my car with 8 psi. it pulls hard and full boost is reach by 3100rpm. this turbo is good for auto x and off the line racing. if you want a good top end go with the sc50 or t3 60 trim

The 14b is a great turbo. It should be big enough for about whatever you want to do on a d-series. The 14b has gotten much heavier DSMs into the 11s, I don't think you need anything bigger than that for a d-series.

The point about the .63 SVO turbo is that it as a fair amount of lag that will increase traction and top end power.

I think if your into auto-Xing, but drag race a lot the 14B is a good choice, but I still think the TD04L-13T wrx turbo is the pimp on auto-xing with a D-series.

BTW 205WWWWWHP on 6psi is just freaking nuts !!!
