For 84mm pistons for my b16a1, would I get custom ones, or use stock bigger size such as for a b20 or something with that bigger bore size? Anyone know of any good places to get pistons and rods for cheap? Thanks
Hmmm... where could you go to get pistons and rods? hmmmm... lol
Your going to have to sleeve the block to go that big but I would recomend something light weight, say JE, CP or IB Spec Wiseco's... all of the above are very light weight, very strong and all alot lighter than ENDYN's wiseco line... Eagle rods are a tad on the heavy side as well, go with a set of Probe Ultra lite I beams, the lightest rod on the market for right now... Keep in mind I did say for right now

Why does everything think Eagle rods are so heavy? Is it just because of the H-Beam design? Looks can be decieving. Pauter rods are actually quite light as well believe it or not.
Cunningham takes the cake on lightness though bascially because they can do just about whatever you want.
Any company should be able to make you 84mm pistons in just about any compression you want. Arias does custom for barely over OTS price. CP's are worth looking into. Top notch quality and probably one of the best for expanding properties, ring seating etc...

Yah I have heard good things about all of those companys, and also I have heard nothing but good things about eagle rods, But I have been looking into cunningham also and I think I am going to go with...I have narrowed it down too Wisceo or arias pistons 12:1 84mm , and eagle or cunningham rods. What would I have to do to make the wisceo super dupers work in my car......Those are also looking quite tempting.

11.8 compression 84.5mm
the compression varies a little on what head/crank you are using.
