I found this guy who is selling some Spoon CTR pistons. I have heard of the JDM ITR balanced Spoon pistons but never of a CTR Spoon piston.

I also asked him what the code on the piston was and he said: HF1

What is this code? Are these real Spoon pistons or am I getting swindled.

Not something I have ever heard of. Im about 99% sure they only offer the JDM ITR which they balance and even those are only available in a few sizes

 

Well with rings atleast the price I have from my supplier and what I can sell them for is $165.00shipped *piston, ring and pin* There for the B16B which is the CTR engine. Now for the code as far as I know none of the B series pistons came with H__ markings. The ones I've only seen have had F71-F72-F73 I believe..if thats the code there referring too.

Who has them for sale? I am pretty sure that Spoon only offers the JDM ITR in balanced form. If you have any doubts, stear clear.

 

I only remember Spoon having an ITR piston and a 2.0L piston (84mm bore), but never a CTR piston. I don't ever recall seeing a Spoon CTR piston in their catalog, but maybe they came out with new stuff.

I was thinking of staying clear but just wanted to check. He is a private seller I found in the classified section on this board.

I thought that it might have been the Spoon 1.8l high compression piston. I was wondering if any had seen it or knew what the code was.
