Default Overheating problem..

Okay so there's a 95 rs I think? It's got hubcaps.. Anyway it overheats like every 2 miles or something took me around an hour to get home ~10 miles.. The fans both spin.. The upper hose for radiator is very hot compared to the lower one [directly under it].. Someone said that you could take the rad cap off and start engine to check if gasket was blown.. we did.. nothing came out so I dunno if there's another way to check. My buddy thinks the thermo is fux0red up.. Any suggestions?

get an OEM thermostat, i just don't trust the autozone ones. the ones I have seen look really cheaply made (obviously considering their price)

takes a few minutes to install it, so its a DIY project.
