Default Longevity of the Thermal R&D?

Howdy guys

Just wanted to get something cleared up. Ive heard about how much people love the Thermal R&D on their cars. So i decided to go over to epinions for the hell of it and read some actual reviews. Well, from what i read, it seems people love the sound for the first 6 months, then it seems like after that, the exhaust becomes loud and droning at highway speeds. Do any of you thermal owners agree with this? And if you do, how long have you had it on for? Thanks ina dvance.

If you want a quiet exhaust don't get the Thermal. If you want decent gains and a near stock look and deep (no bees in a can) sound get it.....

If you want quiet stay stock 'cuz you don't get very much from an exhaust anyway

Yes I have a Thermal I'm old (31) and I like the sound

Well, i understand what the exhaust sounds like, but what im asking is has the loudness changed at all between the time you first bought it and now?

Greddy EVO is nice and deep, not too loud. Mugen twin loop sounds great.
Dave at SMSP said he may start making exhaust for preludes and he said it will be quiet. He makes exhaust for ITRs i think and he said there is none quieter with decent gains.

Yeah, ive been following Dave's prgress with both the header and exhaust. Although it sounds promising, im afraid the price will be too unlike the header...too pricey for me.

Ive heard the RS*R Exmag before and i love it, except i dont think they make it for the SH...or do they?

Mine sounds a bit different from when I first installed it. It sounds just a bit buzzy and a little different when I rev it now... but still decent. Still love it
The only other exhausts I would get is the N1(for the looks), Greddy Evo,Mugen

I put mine on about 1 1/2 years ago. Sound has deepened and richened (nice word, eh?) a little, but pretty close to the way it sounded upon installation. '95 VTEC, BTW.

Stock-ish look? I bought the Stealth...big fat 5" diameter outlet! I guess the Classic is the twin-tip that looks like stock?

Noise is not at all irritating, BTW, even on a trip to Topeka (from Utah). It's at its loudest at ~3000-3500 WOT; the rest of the range is pretty benign.
