the sleeves are two pieces.

the inside is iron i think the outer is aluminium.

it looks fine to me but The first pic is blurry and that seems to have the best light unfortunately.

it is the two pieces of the sleeve and liner. its fine. I would however get the block decked before putting a head on it. It maybe is warped.

the line your refering to, is it vertical, like up and down inside the sleeves?
Or are you refering to the tops of each cylinder where the gasket sits?
(perfectly round on all 4 cylinders?)
Not sure what your trying to show us in the pictures.

I'm soooo lost on what you're after here. There are water jackets and there are sleeves. Are you refering to that? Is there an actual vertical crack that runs the length of the sleeve? I think most of us are really lost on this one.

Just like most everyone said...its where the iron and the aluminum come together in the sleeve. Every honda engine is like that..dont worry about it.
And those pistons are burnt as **** lol

If there is separation between the cylinder lining and the actuall aluminium of the block I think that is something to worry about. Has this motor ever overheated?

Have you tried to clean the block? It looks to me like the markoff from the sealing rings around the cylinders on the head gasket. The part of the gasket with the metal fire ring.

If you are that worried about it I would send the block to aebs and have them resleeve and deck the block and build the motor from there because after they are done with it, it is practically indistructable and good insurance anyways. It will cost a little bit of money but well worth it espically if you plan on running any force induction.
