hey are del sol seats direct bolt in? i think they look kinda cool with that colored stripe. do ugusy thinkl thye are more comfortablethan si seats? mine are comfy as heck and i dont wanna lose comfort for looks. do i use the stock seat rails or what? thanks

 

i asked the same questions.. but with eg seats.. they said its a pain in the ***.. almost closs to impossible to put them in.. thats what i heard

 

damn... what seats are close to fitting/ what seats would go in best? besides si seats i have them.. what about prelude seats?

ooh i dunt think that prelude one will fit.. i think youll have an easier time gtting some bucket seats

 

i wanna hve my car look stock so i wanna go with actual honda/acura seats

how about using the stocker seats then? want that stock look you have to use the stock parts...

 

My del sols went in real quick in my crx i had to tack weld the back rail but thats simple...Oh by the way their for sale

i am gonnna do the same thing. i already have the seats and they are waiting to go in. if you search, you will find a how-to thread. check it out.

 

They are not a direct bolt in. I have made custome mounts. I made them per request and prefer to have the car. I take my time and it usually takes two days to do them. You have a couple of options but they both cost the same. If you have access to a tape messure, welder, table mounted cutting saw and home depot you could make them. http://oem.dnsalias.net/civic.htm#. Look in my Civic journal and you'll see what I made for my Civic. I plan on replacing them with Sparco seats. My sol seats are nice but need serious work. It's cheaper to buy 2 new seats then repair these. I'll make some nice brackets for them. Hope this helps.

Keep your Si seats. They are Recaros, and thus very comfortable and supportive. And they fit perfect and look just like stock

'88-91 CRX DX/Si seats are the best USDM Honda seats IMHO.

 

I managed to fit delslo seats in my friends rex but you have to pull some McGuyver ****. I just mixed and matched seats rails (one side delly (left side driver), one side crx (right side driver), if I remember right)and kinda fabricated a bracket to fit from some scrap rails( only two bolts would fit at first). Its not that hard but you do have to think a little to get them to fit right and not have slop. Just give yourself sometime to think of a plan or buy custom made rails from someone if you dont feel like doing that. I know theres a couple people on here who fabricated some.
