Best seats?
Hello,
Looks like an 00 SI will be the way to go for me if you have read my other post. My biggest complaint with my current civic is how uncomfortable the seat can get. I am about 6'1 so there isnt a whole lotta room to stretch out. Are the SI seats any different? If not, what would you say are the most comfortable/affordable after market seats?
Thanks again.

Re: Best seats? (weil186)
i have a ej1 and i'm about 6'2, the stock seats in my car were uncomfortable i just switched them out for integra seats. way better IMO, but it doesn't give you mutch more room to strech out.

You mean recaros? They run about $1200
IMO, Del sol seats are more comfortable than the set of recaro's I had. They hug better, and have a nicer lumbar fit.
Del sol seats are easy to put into and 89-00 civic.
Just bolt the stock EM1 rails onto the sol seat and off you go.
And you'll be sitting about an Inch lower too, you'll find you like it if you decide to go with the del sol seats.
And my Favorites.

prelude seats are notorious for making drivers fall asleep at the wheels.
Both are nice. If I didn't want to do autocross, i'd get prelude seats, they're hella comfy.
Just not much of a side bolster for support.

wow, those del Sol seats in the second picture are hot. They go good with those SI rears.
Try DC Integra seats, they're comfy.

Anything except 00 Si's, they suck ***, go with either GSR's or del sol's. I just picked these up from a junkyard here in Japan for 150 bux, they are going in my EBSI.

The del sol looks pretty good. Anyone know about how much it normally cost to get seats (2) wrapped in leather? Just in case I could get a good deal from a junk yard and they are crapped up or cloth.
