Default cut off @ around 6,500 rpm

i need help...i got a 93 civic hatch with b18c1...my ecu(p72) was working fine untill it started cutting off @ 6,500 rpm recently. it's won't let me go past it. it also throwing the o2 senso code. but then, we tested my ecu(p72) out on another car(civic) and it ran fine. also, my car ran fine with his ecu(p28). any body got a clue what's going on?

yeah, the CEL puts it in limp mode.

fix the CEL. it only throws it on your car because your car has the problem, not your friend's.
