I have my NGK v-power 7's gapped at .35. It feels like im losing power. Im only running 8lbs so im wondering if my plugs are too cold for 8lbs and are gapped too wide. Anyone help?

MSD or stock ignition? If stock then get them down to .028 and if you have an MSD take it to .032 at least or possibly .030. Just FYI with my boost levels I go down to .020.Good luck.

You won't lose power like poor tuning....

The engine will just cut-out when your coil doesn't have the energy to
light the mix. Two ways to fix it: More energy or less gap.

Stay away from the platinum plugs, these require more engergy than copper plugs.

Jefnes----could my .35 gap and cold plugs be a reason why my car cuts at the vtec engagement??? If i unplug the solonoid i can redline it on the low cam. But with the solonoid hooked up it cuts at 4800rpm. Made me think its ignition but im not an awesome troubleshooter

Same thing happening with my car right now, it cuts around vtec, a little earlier...Stock plugs, but i do have an msd ignition (in sig) I thought it was the fuel pump so I installed a new one but still the same thing...

Yeah me too...I put in a Walbro fuel pump before I got my Wideband 02. I also tried gapping my plugs tighter, but its not working out. ( I stand corrected on my previous post..stock is .043...i gapped down to .035)

just buy the zex plugs and you won't have to worry about a gap.i tried ngk and denso at.022 and they still broke up.zex plugs never missed a beat.people will tell you that they are no good but they are full off ****.they have never given me or any of my customers any problems whatsoever.
