Default ITR ABS 3 or 4 channel?

Is the ITR ABS 3 or 4 channel? Did it ever change from 3 to 4 channel?
Anyone know if/when any other Integras have a 4 channel?

Thanks
Ben

Does anyone have a '98 Helms handy? I'm away for work and the Helms isn't exactly portable.
Anyway, if you do...check it out for the a 4 channel setup if you can. In particular if the wiring supports four solenoids and if 4 solenoids are present or only 3. I think Honda changed it in 1998, at least on the GSR and 97+ ITR.
I searched the archives about this and found a post but it was never resolved.

Thanks
Ben

I think it changed to a 4 channel for the '97 ITR and all 98+ Tegs. They all share the same ABS modulator according to acurautomotiveparts.com. Just hoping someone could confirm this...
I have a 2000 ITR ABS setup...I just the plugs/2 relays on the frame rail and I want to make sure that plugs from any 98+ Teg will be compatible with the 4 channel system...if it is 4 channel at all.

Thanks
Ben

It's 4 channel mechanically, but the ABS control unit is 3 channel (electrically).
The Control unit selects the channel with the lowest wheel speed (the 2 rear channels).

And it all suddenly makes sense....thanks. And that also means that any 98+ plugs will work so I'm all set.

Thanks again
