Default Platinum Plugs with N20

Ok, so I have had assorted NGK plugs in my car and I fianlly went and got the correct ones for my 99 Si. The part number it called for in the manual was for a platinum plug. I have heard that you aren't supposed to spray on Platinum plugs. Something about the platinum melting while on the bottle. Is this true? Or should I not worry about it.

In my searches all I found were the BEST NGK plugs to spray on, not whether or not I could spray on mine.

yup 7 heat range should do, the only advantage to platinum is that they last longer.

Yeah I was always under the impression that platinum was junk too, but I have also read all over the place that the stock NGK's are the best for your car. The stock plugs are platinum! So, any suggestions on which plug I should run normally? or should I run the 7's all the time? Should I close the gap for daily driving?

Platinum is junk with n2o. I exploded all the electrodes when I was on nitrous. Simple change of the plugs and no more problem.
