Techedge 1.5 Wideband 02
Okay, Im installing the Techedge 1.5 in my car today(which i bought from SloS13 on here and it looks great BTW). I have everything layed out and have everything figured out in my head except the narrowband 02 output to my cars ECU. On the techedge 1.5 site, it says that the orange wire is for the narrowband output. Which wires from the stock sensor (2 black, one white and one green I think) go where in the Techedge white connector and can I just chop the crappy bosch sensor off of the end of the wires and just connect them like that, or will the extra connector cause too much loss?? Thanks a ton guys!!
Edit: This is the web page if any of you guys know what each of the stock wires do

i would just hook the narrow band out directly to the ECU...in other words...cut the wire on the ecu plug for your o2 signal and splice it in there. because your WB controller unit wont be in the engine bay anyways....it should be in the cabin. so why run the signal from the controller to the engine bay and then back into the cabin to the ecu? get what i'm saying? hope that makes sense....so just lookup the pinouts for your specific ECU and that will tell you where to hook it up.
install the wideband controller in the car near the ecu, run the cable thru the hole near the battery to get into the engine bay
hook the narrowband output of the techedge to the white wire at the ecu that is the o2 sensor input to the ecu. you will need to also solder in a resistor to act like the stock o2 sensor heater coil otherwise you will throw a code. it would be easiest to do this at the stock o2 sensor connector under the car i think.

Okay..so put the white wire from the stock 02 to the orange narrowband output signal on my Techedge. I need a resistor to make the car think that the heater is still there. This is all correct yes?
