no thats very correct. if you purchase the OBD1 version, which is a little stornger then the OBD2 version, it will be prety dam quick. put it this way, i have a 99' Si with intake, header and exhaust with stock weight and street tires. i ran a 10.08 1/8 of a mile run. this would come out to be around 14.8-14.9 1/4 times.

also stock weight is 2650 lbs.

and stock hp is only 160 Vs. your 143 hp and dont forget the fruggen torque you'll be pullin.

127 ft. lbs?

also, those dam civics weigh close to 2200 lbs

dam u guys.

DAM

this swap is much better then a vtec swap, cuz its cheaper, and you have a lot more to play with, especially when going turbo

good luck with the swap

Are does times for a hatch or coupe? that seem kind of slow for a ls engine in a civic. My time for the 1/8 in a integra rs bone stock was 10.22.

If you run a 9.66 1/8 your 1/4 should be around 15.00 to 14.5. It depends on your tires and driving skills. I had a car run 9.8 and got a 15.2 at the 1/4. Hope this helps you.

Uh...cleenSi...I think you are confusing everyone. As noscivic said....your reaction has nothing at all to do with your 1/4 mile time. Are you saying you're a good driver or bad driver...it isn't very clear?

And not to call you a liar....but high 14's in a pretty much stock si is pretty incredible. Don't they run low 16's stock? So you dropped a full second with I/H/E??? Just curious. Maybe your math is off in converting your times. Its gonna vary for every car. Just because some other car ran your same 1/8th mile time and hit a high 14 sec 1/4 mile doesn't mean you will do the same.

i'll say im a decent driver, im planning sort of on stripping the backseats and getting some custom fiberglass **** so it wont look all ghetto, but i dont really want to waste money, next thing after the swap is gonna be a suspension system. also i dont have an exhaust yet, im deciding whether to go witht eh APexi WS or the N1 what do you all think, keep in mind i want this to be sort of sleeper ''just another civic witha muffler" kinda sleeper
