What happen is i accidently started the car while in first so the car jumped and died.
When the car is parked and off the clutch feeling is stiff (normal) and it goes into gears.
When the car is Started the clutch goes soft on me doesnt feel normal at all and you cant go into gears at all, it grinds every gear when you trying to shift into it.

Before all this had happen it was kind of hard shifing into gears but tend to wore off a little after changing the tranny fluid. then this came up.

Could this be a clutch problem or Transmission problem

it can be both:

1st: ur transmission may be fucked and thats why it wont go in

2nd: and most likely ur clutch is gone and thats why it just grinds.


does it eventually go into gear?

 

it was yesterday but this morning when i started the car it wont go into any of the gears. ONLY goes when the car is OFF

u mean goes into gear only when the car is off???

 

yep the clutch feels normal when the car is off but turns soft when the car is started.

 

not sure but i would start by taking the tranny off...

to me it sounds like a tranny prob...

 

or maybe the starter might be jacked...take it off check the teeth on it..

 

If you have an hydro type of clutch - first check for leakage. However, it does not sound like a tranny problem at all. It's more like your clutch is the problem.
