Default I NEED EVERYONE'S HELP....what type of gauges should i get for this setup????

Ok, here's my setup:
Built B18C bottom end/ B16A head and tranny
Hondata S200 (will have someone else tune it)
JRSC @ 10psi....will be running nitrous with it in the very near future
HP goal: 250-270WHP off nitrous....340-370WHP on nitrous

SO with that in mind, and the fact that I am on a small budget, what type of gauges should i go with? mechanical? electrical? Autometer? Greddy?etc..

Also, i DO know that I need a boost gauge, just don't know what kind, and most likely won't need an oil pressure gauge, since i'm not going turbo anymore...so help me out guys..

do you really need EVERYONE's help?

really its up to you on the gauges. i run boost + EGT personally (+ wideband o2). and i would do the same on a JRSC + nitrous.

Get electrical. Avoid the mechanical vacuum/boost gauges ...

Boost and EGT are the two main ones you need

Boost and wideband 02!!! I didnt even spend the money on the EGT because I already know if if running rich/lean.

what's a good wideband O2 sensor/gauge to go with? forgive me if i sound like an idiot on this subject, but most of my research has been geared toward the engine building/JRSC setup rather than what types of gauges are essential...now that that's just about done, i need to focus more on the finer points of finishing this project..

Just thought of sumthin...since i'm not gonna be the one tuning my setup, why would i need a wideband? hmmm, maybe i should look into getting an EGT?

EGT is a very wise choice because it is the most accurate and failsafe air fuel ratio meter

wideband wont tell you that you've been boosting too long, and your exhaust gases are approaching 900C and you're about to start melting ****.

edit, well...i like having both cause you can see what a given a/f ratio does to your engine temps. but yeah i guess its kinda redundant. buying both is cheap insurance in my opinion.

to keep tabs on your A/F ratio.

I have greddy electronic 60mm gauges

Boost and EGT, along with a Tech Edge Wideband.

Damn..hadnt thought about that...but I don't boost much anyways...so Im not sweating it.

EDIT: This is a good Wideband 02 thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=635792 and I ended up going with the Techedge 1.5

you don't really need wideband.. but some type of a/f gauge is still better than none.. some cheap autometer will keep you informed of whats going on.

Boost=Essential
EGT=highly Recommended
if you cant afford the EGT...buy a A/F...save for the EGT...once you get the money for an EGT...buy it and sell the A/F...EGT is far more useful and accurate than the A/F...a wideband is a good investment if you plan on tuning...but if you go to the dyno, your A/F is good on the wideband...an EGT or even an A/F will tell you if something is wrong and you are running lean....

I would def. suggest making sure you had something to monitor your A/F..either A/F at minimal...EGT for normal circumstances....Wideband if you plan on tuning or you just have an extra $300 to spend on something useful...
