Default Transmission question: Hydro or Cable

Forgive me for not really doing much of a search, I wasn't really sure what to search for, figured it'd be easier/faster to just ask.

I'm going franky with a CRVtec and was wondering what transmission to use. I can get everything I need so far just need to know what tranny to use. Now the CRV/B20 is normally a hydro tranny, but I really don't know if I want to mess with the hydro crap and was wondering if I could go cable.
Are there any problems with that or is it just another bolt on thing..
Also, what would be the advantages of doing either over the other?
Thanks a ton in advance

A cable tranny will bolt onto the B20 block. If you wanted to, you could use a hydraulic tranny using Hasport's new set-up.

Thanks, I thought it was a stupid to ask cuz I figure b-series tranny will bolt to any b-series block..

Is there much of an advantage of going hydro over cable?
