tranny question
lets say im going to pick up a ls w/ cable tranny and my car is setup for hydro can i just simple take the cable tranny off and replace it with a hydro one? or will it involve and kit of some sort

Putting a cable swap into a hydro car is going to take some fabrication.
If you're getting a good deal just get a hydro tranny and sell the cable one.
