Default d16y8 into an eg... need help.. :)

hey wassup guyz im gettin a complete d16y8 swap for my eg soon and was wondering will it work with my eg? wiring harness, mounts, linkage etcetc.. its a 99 d16y8 and its obd2 right? well after i sign off my ticket and smog my car imma turbo it shortly after. just wondering how much psi it can handle. i want to boost 10 psi for high boost and 5 psi for low boost. i have a greddy profec B.. the motor will be completly stock.. will it be reliable? i already have a walbro 255 intank installed. i might go with fmu or blue box. still debating. what do u guyz think? can whoever that have this kit (greddy sohc kit on a stock sohc d16y8 motor) tell me what route they went with fuel management and their experiences. thanks guyz really appreciate it.. i need to put this motor in asap..

i'll help you out a bit.. only a bit...haha

i can only tell you of the actual swap, use the harness from your 92-95 chassis... take if off the intake manifold, and use that on the y8... so basically, y8 motor running obd1 program...

for turbo... i dunno man...

U'r gonna need to use either an OBD1 dizzy or rewire the guts of an OBD2.

Why not just do a Z6? Basically a y8 with a different IM and Tranny. y8 factory rating is 127 and the z6 is 125.
