Default noobie saying hello & d16y8 with boost vs. b16a 1/4 times?

ok...noobie here and saying hello, just triend doing a search but nothing came up. I know this was brought up awhile ago, but can anyone post 1/4 times one can expect from a d16y8 with a turbo(around 6psi), and a near stock(I/H/E ok) 1/4 times?
And if you had a chacne what would you build...i heard that boosted d16y8's are nothing but headaches especially if its a home made kit.
thanx guys! looking forward to learning how to build my eg!

You heard wrong about the headaches thing. A turbo will alwyas be more work than a N/A motor, but I have a boosted D16y7 and have run a 13.8@10 psi. This was on a Greddy kit and I love every second of it. Near stock they seem to run very high 15 to low 16s.
