Thats right baby my 98 GSR has 141k miles on her. Anyway the place i bought it from sent me a letter tellin me I need a 142,500 mile tune up. Whats in that tune up?

120k I did the plugs, wires, cap and rotor... does anything else need to be done, gotta keep this car through college.

dayum, yall reply quick. Yea i did the fuel filter too, the only thing I didnt do was the coolant, forgot about that.

Anyway, I gotta do all this again only 20k later?

 

do the plugs again.....fuel filter, coolant......fluids, check timing, you should be cool...just make sure you are changing oil religiously

No, the 142,500 service is pretty much nothing. Change your oil and filter, check all other fluids, check belts and hoses, check brake pads and rotors.

If you have a Helms manual, the maintenance section will tell you everything you need to do. It's the same as the 22,500 service.

only change the plugs if you used copper instead of platinum at the 120k service. platinum plugs get replaced every 60k.
