My head is being worked on at the moment, and while its out of the car i'd like to upgrade the header and intake manifold studs to a stronger metal grade. the stock ones break so often, its annoying. and its so often the bolts fall off because of vibration, and just because they dont like the turbo..
i remember there was a member on this board that upgrade them, but i forgot his sn...
so if u guys have the size of the studs, and a source of where to get some, id appreciate it. i know atpturbo sells some studs, but im not sure they fit this application. thanks guys...

Jesus, I've never heard of people having a problem with them breaking or coming out! You could just use some lock-tite to keep them in...not sure about breaking though, since I'm sure they're grade 8 and 10 is hard to find...

ive broke a few header studs, and i know of a lot of members that have as well. especially the one right next to the clutch hardline..
the newer b series use bolts i believe, but most people say those suck, because lining it up sucks, so id rather do the upgrade. these things snap like straws dude...
