fram sucks. just about the worst thing you can buy. less actual filter material (and it's cheap material too).

OEM's are far superior.

though i use purolator pure 1's or bosch premiums on my car.

i have a Pure one oil filter in both my cars right now, it seems way to restrictive at start up, my oil pressure is way higher than normal on my miata, and general higher during driving. it has a real oil presure gauge on it, other than the stupid idiot light that comes with the integras. so i am able to measure reasonable pressure difference between oil filters. Thats the problem with synthetic types of oil filters, they can be almost too restrive. that and they are very expensive. i will probably go back to using the AC delco oil filters. ive used them for 4 years on my teg, never had any problems.

and yes, Fram is ****. but i thought i remember hearing somethign about the older honda OEMS beeing FRAM as well, but i cant remember.

EDIT: i think the link you were looking for LSvtec03 is this one: http://www.frankhunt.com/FRANK....html

use this part number 15400-PCX-004 to get the "made in japan" oem honda oil filter. it is suppose to be for the S2000 but itll fit your b-series honda.

and the new oem smaller oil filter are made by fram but they are of better quality than the aftermarket orange frams. but the larger size oem frams are just as shitty as the aftermarket frams.
