HIgh CO count on cx emission test
Setup:
1993 cx hatch
Cheesy muffler (looks liek custom piping) Has cat
Went today for inspection and it failed for emissions said too high on my CO count. Anyone know any idead of what i can do,**note** don not want to ADD a cat or resinator** I am stuck. I am in NJ and I was told that if I do more that 500$ in repairs and still fail I will get waivered, I was thinking maybe getting a new o2 sensor, I dunno just help please! TIA

I have a stock VX exhaust if you need it. I will sell it to you for free, just pay shipping.

I don't want to spend any money for the emission passing it is like 100 just to get ti tested you think it would be to my benefit to replace the O2 sensor...My dad had a problem with his truck and thats what they did and he passed so I dunno....just hate NJ emissions
