Anyone know if a D series distributor shaft is the same as a B series distributor shaft?
I need to send a shaft to my tuner to modify for my Accel DFI. I don't wanna be without my car for a week or so and I found a D series shaft in town, but am not for sure if it is the same?
HELP.....
HELP.....
actualliy, I just swapped a p06(d15b7) into a pr4(B18B)...hope that helps

ya, shafts, but you have to use the B series cam-do-hicky on the cam-side of the dist.
HUH.......CAM DO HICKEY, LOL....it is running though right? But really, what part of the b series cam are you talking about???
a sohc vtec 92 and up won't work on a b18c or b16a distributor. the shaft will fit into the b16a distributor, but the rotor positioning is different.

correct, 93lsivic spent a couple days diagnosing that problem. He kept assuring me that the timing was right. eventually put the motor on #1 and took the distributor cap off, definately not pointing at #1.
