I'm aiming for 300whp out of my Y8 with forged rods/pistons.

Now, I have a log style mani with my T04E having an internal wastegate, 2.5 inch dp and exhaust.

This is my question:

Should I put on a Tial External wategate and run the open wastegate with the 2.5 inch exhaust I currently have now, or, should I keep the internally gated set up and switch the exhaust to a 3 inch?

I know the best would be to run the external and the 3 inch, but I want to do one or the other.

 

I think the log manifold is going to hurt you in your power other wise i think u should hit it.
