wich trap speed 510 whp ?
Right now I have a shitty LS tranny that I want to get rid of. I want to get either a gsr or si tranny, but I have to figure out at how much MPH I could trap with that kind of power , to do the math.
John@M&H recommended me either 24.5" or 26" slicks, i'm probably gonna get the 26's.
So
GSR
9000 rpm rev limiter
26" slicks
510 whp @ 8500 / 321 tq @ 8000.
Si or GSR tranny ?

i made 509 to the wheels and 318 tq. 25" slicks with a b16 tranny. weighted 2450 with me in it. went a best of 10.70 @ 134/135. 26's are alittle big for what you have. with 26's, go straight b16 tranny. with 25's, go b16 if you can raise your rev limit to like 9500 or go gsr if you can't. if this is a street car, i would think you'll weight closer to 2700 lbs and will be running 10.80's........no wheelie bars and full interior.
25" slicks are not available in 15"
ITR brakes, no choice to go 15" ..
the car weights exactly 2768 with me in it and the passenger seat removed.
So you think 10's are possible ... Coming from you I tend to believe it's true ..
BTW, do you remenber when I sent you a PM about 6 months ago to ask you if my setup could make 500 whp with a t3/ 60-1 ? well i did it

I know you'll have to have coilovers, but how well do the 26" fit? Is the car raised up really high in the front and low in the back? Anyone got any pics with some 26" slicks??
Id go 25's...they have more sidewall and have less weight. You can run them with less air to get them to hook. we used to run as low as 4.5 pounds with over 500 hp to get them to hook. 26's suck...thats my opinion.

This seems like a better way to go because it keeps the weight down on the rims and you get 1/2 inch more of sidewall
