B18c turbo in eg
Yea im about to turbo my car, stock internals, ls tranny though in a gsr. Im hooking up a vafc, walbro fuel pump, 440cc injectors. t3 turbo, custom manifold, spearco intercooler. I was wondering about the boosting, how much you think it could handle on stock internals safely? I heard up to 9psi, but i was seeing if ne1 else wanted to help out here. Im getting a boost controller to c how that works out n all, i do work here n there so iono, tell me your opinion. And if ur hear to rag on me just dont post at all cuz ur to lame =/.
think 7 daily is fine? i mean i knoe how to take care if it not go crazy n **** even though im a teenager, just wanted to beat this 97 cobra

With an LS tranny you'll accelerate slower all around but might get a bit better gas mileage. Bad moving going to the LS trans.

ls tranny sucks
i just hit 12.7 with a ls, gsr tranny, and 13 lbs. could have got some better times, but it was my first time and i only ran once.
you should kick his *** with 7 lbs though

5 pounds not good enuff? this is in a eg, i get SMOKED by this gsr in the integ stock internals 9 psi..so u think i should just get the gsr tranny
I have been running 7psi on stock b18c1 no problem other then a blown head gasket
I also have an LS tranny the tranny isnt that bad, but it does fall on its face in 3rd gear. but dont worry its not that bad, I ran a 12.900 at 110.7 and it was a shitty run in my opinion. Im going to turn up my boost to 8 or 9 psi only on race gas for this wekend at e-town. Im running the hack too so I wont be going over 10 psi. but I do have wideband to tune my 9 psi.
