Default H22 Being Ordered Tomorrow!!!

Well the other night i went & got a clutch & flywheel from this guy. He had a h22 type S sitting in his older body teg. I was like damn. He has a 200 shot on it. Built bottom end & head. It was crazy. So now I want 1. I usually never have money but I am about to sell my Crx. So I will have $1800 & I got a 91 4 door civic for free. So I'm giving this shop $1800 plus the civic (i gotta get an engine & tranny for it though) for a complete h22 swap. I have tried searching for h22 swaps into our years but turned up empty or got tired & gave up. So where is a site or something so I can figure out what I all need & how to get this bad mamba jamba to fit. I know i need mounts, axels, & to figure out the shifter thing. So let me know. I greatly appreciate it.

Man go for it!!! You will get a lot of grief from people on this board but you will have a kick *** daily driver if you get that thing going. Good luck, and dont think you can do this on a tight budget. Its going to cost a lot of $$$.

I'm going to get it going as soon as I know what I all need to order to do the thing. I plan on spending $5000 on getting the swap installed. Well $2000 for the swap & then $3000 for parts & what not to install it. This 1 guy said he would tell me how to get it in & everything I needed but everytime I call his shop no one answers & I never get called back. I'll just keep searching.

Exactly do a search I posted a question exactly lik ethis a while back and there ended up being a lot of stuff posted on it. Not being a pain but there is a lot of info pertaining to your question. You will be puting 10 lbs of potatos in a 5 lb sack, and you will have to custom fab a lot. Plus count on major problems getting traction and serious understeer. Huge amount of tourqe to get to hook up. It won't he easy.

man, tht will be SICK in a straight line. talk about a sleeper. the only thing is that you can forget about handling. she'll plow like a *****. but all that means is you'll have to take the exit ramps a little slower before you own that mustang on the open road

I will do a search again. Understeer shouldn't be to bad. I'm getting a fiberglass hood & relocating my battery. That way the 85 extra pounds turns into 35-40. Plus with the upgraded suspension it shouldn't be as bad as everyone says. I'm ordering the swap today & it'll most likely take me 2-3 months to get everything together. Thanks for the replys.
