Default Coompression test results..... help!

ok I just did a compression test on my car. I cranked it 5 times. And my results were 195PSI all across teh board. so that's good news I guess.

I have a JDM type r motor in my EK. I live in a very high elevation area, so is that why it's kinda low? I thought I should be over 200. Should I have anything to worry about?

thanks in advance.

Also... what should a B18b be at? (we did my roomates' too)

the main thing is that they are 'linear' or equal across the board. The numbers tell you very little.

Looks good enough to me.....beside the fact I see no mention of boost in your post

did you press the gas pedal all the way in when you do the test?
Last time I saw somebody do the test w/o the WOT and the result was on the low number.

a leak would indicate an unequal range of +- 15psi

a jdm r motor should pull at least 240psi im getting 265 on mine. but there are many factors when doing the test, car at operating temp, valve adjustment, full throttle, carbon buildup.

Crank it 9 times and your numbers will be higher.
