Default temporary replacement for intake?

Well, my car was broken into AGAIN!!!! this is turning into a fkljaskjldsakljdsa joke

Wake up in the morning find my hood wide open and my cd player stolen with the windows down, is there anything I can use as a temporary replacement? I don't have the stock airbox, all I have is the one from a DX which I seriously doubt will work... i'm also pretty much broke, thanks

... pantyhose with a rubberband/hose clamp right on the intake mani works... or the cone filter clamped directly to the intake mani works as well....

just use a tube sock over the TB and secure it well...of course this is a VERY temp solution. It will save you the embarassment of buying some panty hose.

Sorry to hear about your car dude. If ya have an alarm wire a motion sensor into it. Leave your doors unlocked too. That way if anyone trys to mess with your car again, the thing will be heard, you're lucky they didn't pop your glass this time. Kill switches need to be in there as well. Get into the habit of keeping NOTHING IN YOUR CAR. And keep your rear seat down and remove your parcel tray. So a low life won't be tempted to find out what's in there. Yeah bro a sock works on the throttle-body just use a clean one , Been there before. Life's a Bitch at times but be glad it wasn't your whole ride or boards & wetsuits stolen as well! It could have been worse.

my boards and wetsuit are next, they stole the garage door opener.. I'm planning for their return and yes I do have a gun ready

Breaking into someones car is one thing, stealing **** from a house isn't even a joke... they will pay the price
