Default Who owns a Valentine One and wants a concealed display?

I'm considering selling pre constructed concealed displays like the one I designed for my Integra. Who currently owns a V1 and would be interested in paying $95 for an Integra clock with the concealed display installed inside?

I would like to see if there is any demand for this product so please don't say you are interested unless you are willing to spend the money.

Keep in mind that I need to buy the concealed display ($40) and an Integra clock so I'm only making about a $30 profit on each one. Not to mention it does take me time to do the conversion.

Thanks guys! Here's to the future with no more speeding tickets!

i saw this a while back and liked it. My question is though, where does the actual V1 unit go to still pick up the radars? and how hard is it to read the part saying which frequency they're on?

-Sergio, who's sick of the unit and coil in the way

That is a good idea man...but I have my own custom mount for the V1 so I don't need it...but for anybody else out there sporting the V1, Josh has one of the coolest mounts for it that I have ever seen.

You can place the actual V1 anywhere - up on a windshield visor or even in the back on the deck lid like mine.

Each radar frequency and laser has unique audible sounds. You should have no problem hearing the different sounds and remembering what medium it represents. Besides, it's not really that important to know which type of radar signal is hitting your vehicle. And the laser warning sound is really obvious.

You can still hit the "mute" button on the actual v1 unit.

The link above is to a post I made some time ago detailing the install of the remote display, just to show you guys that the actual unit does not get installed behind the clock.

That's why I reach to the very nearby change tray for this little gismo.
I have full control of the V1 even though the brain V1 is in the rear of the car - power, volume, mute... no more hassle from the police IF I did get pulled over. And there is no scrambling to rip the V1 off the dash to throw it under the seat.

With a quick and unnoticed wrist motion the V1 is off and all components are out of view... "Hello officer of the Law, of course there is not Radar Detector in this vehicle"

You can wire a remote mode/mute switch anywhere. I had one on the steering wheel of my old Blazer....

So does this V1 actually work at picking up the latest radars being used?
