Test Pipe on 2000 GSR

Can i put a test pipe on my 2000 gsr without my check engine light being on? Is there a way that i can by-pass the sensor?

so what kind of gains/benefits can you get from a test pipe and is it smog legal? that is the piece you'd put in place of your cat if you were to do a straight pipe right?

yeah, sure smog legal. eh eh eh eh eh You better not even pass by the dmv with a test pipe. Nah it's not smog legal

Not unless you put the O2 sensor in the test pipe along with a piece of the cat so the O2 signal doesn't trip the check engine light.
