Problem! Just did compression test now car wont start!!!
I just perfomred a compression test and everything went fine. After i was done i tried to turn my car back on and it wouldnt start. I checked all the plugs and wires everythings in the rite place and in working condition. I was thinkin the cylinder got full of fuel and now it wont ingnite? how can i solve this problem!? Need HELP ASAP!
did you put the fuse for the fuel pump back in?
sorry to have to ask but sometimes I forget stupid **** like that, I kept forgetting to plug the Dizzy back in when I did a mini me swap.
if it is full of fuel just take out the spark plugs and let it dry, but it shoudl be since you are supposed to unplug the fuse for the fuel....
all i can think off for now

If you did not unplug the distributor or disconnect the power to the distributor before you did the compression test you likely burnt the coil or igniter and now have no spark. This is the result of the power having no where to go but through the weakest outlet. You now need to replace the damaged parts.

Yep! This happened to me the last time I did a comprression test. Everything went fine, disconnected fuel fuse and plug wires out and took the coil wire off the distrubtor cap, my car wouldn't atart after that. Was a bad coil, just died on me during the test.

Ya i think this is the problem, i plulled out the wires and put a screw driver there to see if it would spark and nothing happend. So theres no spark at all going to my plugs. So im guessin i burned the coil or igniter. Is there any other ways to check if there is a spark?

On c-speed it doesn't say anything about disconnecting the power to the distributor. All it says is to remove the fuse for the fuel injection. Is the power to the distributor that big plastic piece with all the wires. So to undo the power just pull those that big plastic piece apart right?
ya where the spark plug wires come out of

what? I know where the spark plugs go and to take them out when testing, but, do I have to disconnect the grey colored sensor I think it is. Its grey plastic piece right next to the distributor that clips together to form one piece, but you can pull it apart into two pieces. is that what im supposed to pull apart aside from removing the spark plug wires from the spark plug holes?
basically how do i disconnect the distributor?

3 12mm bolts, unplug it, and wiggle it out. You'll drip some oil down tho

lol.. thats to remove the distributor, he wants to disconnect it to do a compression test.
Just unplug the harness in the rear of the distributor.

What?
No, you don't have to "REMOVE" the distributor, just unplug it.
There are two plugs on it, remove the plugs from the clips then disconnect the plugs.

Thank you, you guys are making it too difficult. Pull the ECU fuse and backup fuse, that's all I do. Never fried anything.
Well i just replaced my coil today and now the car runs fine again. While i was at it i also replaced the cap, rotor and wires just for a minor tune up since i was already takeing the distributor apart.
