setting cam timing

Default setting cam timing

how do i move the cam gear to TDC for piston 1? i tried to rotate it by the 12mm bolt in the middle of the cam gear under the timing belt, but it only rotated so far, and i didnt want to overtorque or break the bolt.

1 take all spark plugs off so u dont get compression

and try movin the crank by hand

i got the crank on TDC, but the cam gear was off. so i took the timing belt so i can set the cam gear to TDC. how do i do it with the timing belt off?

use a 14mm socket, and turn counter clockwise until the top is top....
