i noticed they have the adaptor plates now. I wish they had those when i did my intake mani.

wouldnt that be over kill ?? Ericks runs 76mm but i dont think you can bolt it on a regular IM since is way to big .

I broke the shaft on mine, it snapped righ off at the linkage, but I've broke a few accufabs too.

Ask guys like Gary G the big TB's have shaft issues on turbo cars.

And no its not from nitrous backfires, the shaft just snap most of the time near the bolts that hold the throttle plates on, but the "edelbroke" has a oring groove cut in it the shaft making it tiny in a spot, the vibration breaks the shaft off on the linkage side.

Good luck I've spent more money replacing the throttle bodys now that it would cost to build a new motor with all aftermarket parts. At least 7 different issue over the last 4 yrs.

on my jg/edelbrock intake manifold i got a flange welded onto it so it can accept a 75mm mustang thottle body..than i ported out the manifold to 75mm....

ericks offers a 76? I thought the 72 was the largest? Do you have to run an adapter or anything? whats the deal on your new ride mike?-pete

im gonna open my trap and say accufab.. they are cheaper than holley, edelbrock. i think they are around 210 for a 75mm. where as the holley..etc are around 240.
