anyone running the edelbrock 75mm TB?
I broke the shaft on mine, it snapped righ off at the linkage, but I've broke a few accufabs too.
Ask guys like Gary G the big TB's have shaft issues on turbo cars.
And no its not from nitrous backfires, the shaft just snap most of the time near the bolts that hold the throttle plates on, but the "edelbroke" has a oring groove cut in it the shaft making it tiny in a spot, the vibration breaks the shaft off on the linkage side.
Good luck I've spent more money replacing the throttle bodys now that it would cost to build a new motor with all aftermarket parts. At least 7 different issue over the last 4 yrs.
