Default question about iac on itr intake manifold

ok the idle air control valve on my integra type r intake manifold is bad what other intake manifold has the same sensor that bolts up

92-95 civic D16z IAC will work. There are probably others, thats the one I know of off-hand.

I think just about any of the newer D-series or B-series will be good to go.

Wrong not all IAC's are the same. Try to find someone local so you can match it up to your IM.

so any body else because when i bought my intake manny it was bare and the iac i put on it was just one i had laying around and i don't remember what i took it off of

which IAC's are different then?
I've used one from a B18B, and D16y8.

i know the iac that comes on a gsr and on the 92-95 civic is different than the one on the iac

alot of the OBD1 IAC'S B-Series are longer than OBD2's you want to get the same kind, you cant use ones from D-series because the IAC is different there a 3 wire instead of 2 wire


one more thing you can use OBD1 but you will only be able to get 1 bolt in the maniflod the holes dont line up.

so areu saying that i need to get an obd2 iac even tho my car is obd1 and is the iac that i already have on there is obd2
