whats the range on the pager alarms... my friend has a black widow i think, and it gets bad range... he said it works pretty well if hes at a house party, but if he goes to a store, it gets no reception/range...

The tw-1 has great range. I don't think the remote can send signals over .25-.5 mile. The range coming out from paging should be much greater since the car's transmitter should be much stronger. I have tested my transmitter at about .25-.5 mile. It still worked, even though I could not hear the chirps.

I would go with the Viper RS3.5. it's brand new and has a defroster output and a built in turbo timer. it's pretty damn sweet. lifetime warrantee. $499 installed at bestbuy

^ thats good... but I don't have a turbo, and I don't have $499 ohh well...

but does anyone know how this aladdin alarm compares (not the a-2000)... it was a differnet alarm with a much smaller pager...I was searching and couldn't find anything...

Yep. There is a jumper inside. If you move it it transmits with more power.
