What C/R for my sleeved gsr w/itr head and a sc61?
well I have a gsr bottom with an itr top. In the process of getting sleeved stock bore.
what c/r ratio should i go with I was thinking stock 10:1 which would be 9.7:1 because of the itr head
What should I go with??
I am still debating on the sc61 or sc63, I think I am gonna go with the 63,
I am shooting for 500whp
Thanks

i think the sc61 will be perfect for u. i'd stick with like a 9:1c/r if u plan on running that much hp. with a sc61 you'll need to run about 22psi. that should get you a little over 500whp, with a better spool up then the sc63.
at 24psi with 9.8:1 compression, you'll be nicely over 500. Art had a guy who ran 24psi on 9:1 compression and made 530whp. thats why i said for his hp goals, 9:1 is safe, and he'll still make his goals. but i guess you could run higher c/r and less boost, theres just less of a margin in error for tuning then. all depends how good your tuner is also.

i think, i'm gonna go with 9.7:1 some cp pistons.
Should i keep stock bore or go 84mm, or maybe something custom in between
