LS tranny with GSR FD and quaife on a B18C with a 9500rpm redline, 10000rpm cutoff in an EG hb w/ a 24in slick w/ HP in the upper 500 to lower 600 range. Any opinions or suggestions appreciated.

with that hp, straight gsr... no ls gears they suck, too much drop off, especially if you go big turbo

 

I was thinking about slapping in the the LS tranny with the gsr fd and having a 50-80 shot of nitrous to help it along after 3rd gear. Do you think that would work or should I just keep with the gsr even with the nitrous?

make the power use a baseline tranny like a gsr or b16 to get an idea what suits you, your driving style and your car's needs at the track... then start experimenting, you need to have base line 3's so dont tear apart a good trannie, besides the ls hybrid tranny is old school ideas. Jason
