trying to calibrate my TPS, SEARCH no good
I recntly dropped an JDM B18C in my EK, but I cant seem to get the TPS in the right spot. I keep getting a CEL # 7. I've done this before and i usually dont go through such a hard time to get it to work right .
How can a wrong TPS setting affect the car ?
What are the ohms for the TPS

From one of my archived threads:
How to adjust your TPS if it is reading incorrect voltage:
-Get a volt meter, digital or analog.
-loosen screws that attach TPS to TB. (you may need to take a dremel and make a slot in each screw for a flathead, because USDM TB's have breakaway bolts instead of torque spit bolts like the JDM TB's)
-turn key to ignition.
-attach voltmeter to middle PIN on the harness and slowly rotate the TPS until the desired voltage is reached. (in this case, between 0.45-0.50 volts for idle)
-tighten down screws finger tight and test for correct voltage at 0 throttle and at WOT (WOT = 4.45 or higher).
-if voltage is correct, tighten down screws, but not too tight or you will crack your TPS.
-turn on car and you should have a perfectly working TPS. You may need to readjust your idle if you messed with it while trying to figure out your original problem, like me.

99.9% of Honda/Acura vehicles TPS read 0.49 volts with the throttle closed. If yours is set there, you should be golden, unless there is someting wrong with the TPS.
thanks guys , i changed out my TPS for a new one that a friend brought over and took care of my CEL. I'm going to run a volt test as soon as i get my hands on a volt meter
